British stage and screen actor, Royal Shakespeare Company alumna, and award-winning filmmaker behind Perfect.
Miranda Nolan is a British stage and screen actor and a multi-award-winning director, writer and producer, born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon.
She's worked extensively across film, television and theatre. Her screen credits include Christopher Nolan's Inception, The Dark Knight Rises and Dunkirk, the BBC's The Witness for the Prosecution, Silent Witness, EastEnders and Casualty.
As a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company she's performed in Stratford-upon-Avon and London's West End, playing Letta in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman opposite Antony Sher's acclaimed Willy Loman, and joining the original cast of Richard II starring David Tennant.
Before she ever stepped in front of a camera she was designing what stood behind it. Miranda graduated with first class honours from Central Saint Martins in Set Design and Design for Performance, designed Turgenev's The Country Doctor in the Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre, and worked as an art director for the BBC. At 23 she produced and starred in Rebecca Prichard's Essex Girls on London's fringe.
She's the daughter of actors Kim Hartman and John Nolan and the founder of Serenity Films. A first dan black belt and qualified kickboxing coach, she co-founded the International Pink Belt Kickboxing Empowerment Programme for women and girls with her husband and producing partner, fight choreographer Marc Edwards.
